Project Strength in Numbers
The two-year goal of Family Support Washington is to improve practice of Family Support through connecting professionals to resources.
We’ll do this through the work of five virtual committees…
1. The Membership Committee will recruit 250 members by 2011, communicate with them on a regular basis and develop strategies in response to members’ needs. Members will have full-access to the resource bank.
2. The Face-to-Face Connections Committee will establish and maintain updated listings of events, workshops, meetings and trainings where professionals can learn and network in person.
3. The Virtual Connections Committee will support professional growth through online blogs, discussion boards and resource-sharing.
4. The Data Resources Committee will establish and maintain an online resource bank of sample grants, family support research, center forms and information on donor development. No need to reinvent the wheel. We’ll highlight what’s working in one center and share it with all!
5. In November 2009 the Programs Committee will start surveying members. Resulting activities will begin in or before August 2010.
