Robin Russell teaches fifth grade in Bellevue. Before teaching she worked in the fields of mediation and multiculturalism. She was the first Program Manager for Cascade People’s Center and worked with stakeholders to create a community-based center with ten staff, 400 volunteers, 150 community partners and over 6,000 participants a year. During that time Robin raised over two million in cash and twice that in “in-kind” support. Since 1999 Robin has worked as a consultant in family support, providing technical assistance and training to Family Centers throughout western Washington. Robin is also an author of juvenile fiction. A Prince in Peril is the first book in her Summer Island series.
Tracy Sarich is the Executive Director of Children's Trust Foundation. She has been a leader in the Puget Sound community for nearly l2 years and actively involved in a variety of non-profit organizations. Tracy has worked on behalf of Washington youth, families, and victims of domestic violence for the past seven years. Tracy lives on Capitol Hill with her husband, John Chase, with whom she shares a passion for travel, sailing, wine and food. In her free time, she is a contributing editor to and Board Member of Foodista.com, the online cooking encyclopedia everyone can edit.
Ngoc Do is a graduate of Western Washington University with a BA in Human Services. She first became involved in family support through Americorps*VISTA year, coordinating youth programs, doing volunteer management and facilitating center operations. Ngoc is currently the Executive Assistant for Camp Fire USA Central Puget Sound Council, continuing her career in working with children, youth and families.
Ann Fuller is a program manager at Children's Home Society of Washington and oversees the North Seattle Family Center and the Auburn Family Resource Center. Ann has been in this position for 12 years and has developed strong community partnership networks for the Centers. She has previously worked in the fields of literacy and journalism, and still writes the occasional freelance article. She and her husband live in beautiful Ballard and are parents of two really great grown-up kids, grandparents to two beautiful girls, and cat "owners" to two stubborn furballs.
Claudia Dickinson is the Program Manager for the Angle Lake Family Resource Center, a program of Lutheran Community Services NW. The Angle Lake Family Resource Center opened in 2007, offering a variety of family and community building programs. They continue to stay focused on what they believe is most important: building long-term relationships with families and providing ongoing support to the community.
Claudia has been in the family support field for 15 years and before that was a Volunteer Program Coordinator and then Executive Director for a small agency in New York state. She first connected to FSW in 1994, attending meetings and. It was during this time that she met many respected people in the field who brought family support practice to life in her work. Claudia has served as Chair of the FLED Advisory Committee at Edmonds Community College. This committee has helped develop academic excellence in the Family Support Certificate program. She is the proud recipient of the 2009 Janet Miller Award for Excellence in Family Support. Claudia serves on committees as a member of the Rotary Club of SeaTac and SWKC Chamber of Commerce. This is her first opportunity to be on the board and she is excited about the vision that lies before us.
